For more than 40 years, our teams have helped populations in distress irrespective of race, religion, philosophy or political affiliation. We intervene in emergency situations (conflicts, epidemics, natural disasters, nutritional crises) and in situations of great precariousness, in order to assist those whose life or health is threatened.
With more than 35.000 doctors, nurses, epidemiologists, logisticians, specialists in drinking and cleansing water who work in 63 countries around the world, we can implement a large range of healthcare services: medical consultations, hospital admissions, surgery, nutritional assistance, psychological assistance, etc.
From cholera to tuberculosis, through measles or meningitis, the MSF teams look after patients touched by many illnesses.
Ensuring quality healthcare costs a lot of money. Conveying drugs and equipment, hiring doctors, nurses and other people needed for humanitarian purposes, imply high costs. The organisation is proud to allocate a maximum of resources for the direct benefit of humanitarian action where it is needed. However, without the generosity of our donators, no emergency aid could be delivered. Thanks to your donations, we are able to react to emergency situations as soon as they occur and to provide quality healthcare to those who need it.
